We have posted the prototypes from _Building Expert Systems in Prolog_
(Springer-Verlag) on our FTP/Gopher site and in the CMU repository.

The protypes include:
  Backward chaining with certainty factors
  Forward chaining
  Modified RETE network
Explanations and traces for how a system deduced an answer
Frames, objects, records, if-then rules and attribute-value pairs for
    modelling the data
The book is available from Springer-Verlag, ourselves and many technical
bookstores, such as Quantum Books on the net.

The FTP site is ftp.std.com:ftp/vendors/amzi/programs/XSIP.EXE,TXT
The Gopher site is gopher.std.com, select "Shops on the World" then "Amzi"

The CMU repository is:
http://www.cs.cmu.edu:8001/Web/Groups/AI/html/repository.html

It also contains many other useful items worth exploring.

Regards,
Mary Kroening
