Some of the recycling collection sites have gotten a little out of
hand lately, so we'd like to remind you of what IS NOT recyclable
on campus:

1 Phone Books -- This was a special program in November of 1991.
Please don't leave them at the collection sites
anymore. Someone just has to throw them in the
		      trash.

2 Newspapers -- Please don't contaminate the paper recyling containers
with newsprint. The City of Pittsburgh will pick
		      this up from your home.

3 Magazines -- The CMU program does not accept these. Please don't
		      contaminate the containers.

4 Golden Envelopes -- Ah yes, the controverial and annoying golden
brown envelopes. They are some funky kind of
paper that is useless to our recyclers, so
			please trash golden envelopes.

5 Trash -- Please do not throw trash in the recycle containers.
There's sort of an avalanche effect started by one
piece of trash in a recycle container.

And keep in mind, corrugated cardboard IS recyclable at CMU, but please
don't contaminate the paper recycling containers. Flatten the cardboard
and leave it outside your office door with "RECYCLE" written on it.

Thank you for making SCS recycling work.
