This is the annual post to inform new SCS people and remind
all SCS people of how recycling works. SCS participates in
the campus-wide program of paper, can, and cardboard collection
for recycling, and internally supports glass recycling.
Physical Plant personnel collects the paper and cans. ABM
(the cleaning people) pick up the cardboard. An SCS volunteer
	collects the glass.

NOTE: Nothing is picked up from your office except cardboard.
Everyone is responsible for dropping off their paper,
cans, and glass at the central "collection sites".

A series of posts this week will explain each of the aspects
of SCS recycling. Today's post explains who we, the SCS Recycling
	Liaisons, are...

                S C S R E C Y C L I N G L I A I S O N

The SCS Recycling Liaison is actually a group of four people
who are the SCS interface to the CMU Recycling Coordinator.
The SCS Recycling Liaison's functions are:

                1. Post recycling information updates

                2. Maintain this information in /../g/usr/recycle/info

			2a. See /../g/usr/recycle/info/collection_sites
for a list of all the collection sites

			2b. See /../g/usr/recycle/info/recycling_procedures
for lists of what is and isn't recyclable

                3. Answer recycling questions

The Recycling Liaison has several other day jobs,
and asks that all questions are posed via email
to recycle@cs. You will receive a response within
			one week.

Thank you for recycling.
