OAKLAND, Calif. (UPI) -- Lamond Murray scored 22 points and Jason Kidd recorded his first career triple-double Friday night, leading 25th-rated California to an 80-48 rout of Maryland-Baltimore County in the first round of the Otis Spunkmeyer Classic. Kidd finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists for the Golden Bears, 3-2, who will play Tulane in Sunday's final. Kevin Bellinger scored 16 points to lead the Retrievers, 1-3. Maryland-Baltimore held California to 44 percent shooting in the first half and trailed at halftime, 41-28. But the Golden Bears outscored the Retrievers in the first nine minutes of the second half, 24-2, to open a 65-30 lead. Ryan Jamison added 13 points for California, which forced 22 turnovers and outrebounded UMBC, 51-25.
