OAKLAND, Calif. (UPI) -- Lamond Murray scored 25 points and Randy Duck added 15 points Sunday afternoon, pacing 25th-rated California to an 83- 70 triumph over Tulane in the championship game of the Otis Spunkmeyer Classic. Pointer Williams, Chris Cameron and Carlin Hartman each netted 12 points for Tulane, 4-2. Jason Kidd added 12 points and eight assists for California, 4-2, which went on a 9-3 run in the final 3:30 of the first half to take a 43-35 lead at halftime. The Bears opened a 10-point lead, 53-41, with six minutes left in the second half and led by as many as 15 with 3:32 remaining. California used only seven players, with five in double figures. The Bears shot 56 percent from the floor while the Green Wave hit on only 36 percent of its shots.
