TUCSON, Ariz. (UPI) -- Lamond Murray scored 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Thursday night to lead the California Golden Bears to a 98-93 upset in overtime over the Arizona Wildcats in a Pac-10 conference showdown. Monty Buckley netted 19 points before fouling out and Jason Kidd added 17 for the Bears, who improved to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in Pac-10 play. Khalid Reeves scored 23 points and Damon Stoudamire netted 20 for the Wildcats, 12-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference. Murray sent the game into overtime with a 3-pointer from the left corner with 3.5 seconds remaining to knot the game at 86-86. Reeves made another 3-pointer 20 seconds into overtime and Dylan Rigdon added 4 points as the Bears jumped out to a 5-point lead in the extra session, but Anwar McQueen scored 5 straight for Cal to deadlock the score at 93-93. Murray drained three free throws in the final minute and Akill Jones added two to close out the scoring as Arizona lost at home for only the third time in its last 103 contests. McQueen finished with 13 points, all after halftime. The defending Pac-10 champ Wildcats' loss was their second in 59 conference home games.
