BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) -- Khalid Reeves scored 26 points and No. 16 Arizona turned back a rally by 18th-ranked California with a 22-0 run to pull away to a 96-77 victory Sunday. Joseph Blair and Damon Stoudamire each scored 20 points, while Reggie Geary had 13 and Ray Owes 10 as each starter for Arizona (19-4, 8-3 Pac-10) reached double figures to reverse the Wildcats overtime loss to Cal earlier this season. California (16-5, 8-3), down to just seven scholarship players because of season-ending injuries to three others, had a six-game winning streak snapped. Lamond Murray's 28 points led the Golden Bears, while Monty Buckley had 19 and Jason Kidd 18. Arizona went up 59-45 on a 3-pointer by Stoudamire before Michael Stewart scored six straight points to ignite a 16-2 burst by Cal. Kidd capped the streak with a steal and driving layup to tie the score 61-61 with 11:07 left. A layup by Murray brought Cal within 67-65 with 8:00 remaining but the Bears then failed to score for nearly six minutes, allowing the Wildcats to go up 87-65 before Murray made a layup with 2:15 left to end the drought. Reeves hit a 3-pointer to put Arizona up 74-65 and then Cal coach Todd Bozeman was called for a technical by referee Charlie Range with just under six minutes left. Bozeman was aggresively complaining about Geary's trash talking when Range slapped him with the technical. Reeves made both free throws and Arizona got the ball and scored again for a 77-65 lead and Cal never recovered. Arizona led 49-36 at halftime, closing the period with an 11-4 burst capped by a dunk by Owes that epitomized the Wildcats inside domination. Blair scored 12 of his points in the first half, all coming in close as Arizona outrebounded Cal 21-11.
