BERKELEY, Calif. (UPI) -- Lamond Murray scored 26 points and Monty Buckley added 11 Saturday afternoon, powering California to a 79-64 triumph over Washington in a Pac-10 battle. K.J. Roberts and Randy Duck each netted 10 points to pace the Golden Bears, who improved to 2-0 in conference play and 9-2 overall. Jason Kidd finished with 6 points and 10 assists. Sam Allen scored 17 and Amir Rashad poured in 16 to lead Washington, which fell to 0-2 in the Pac-10 and 2-9 overall. California used a 27-3 run in the first half en route to a 45-28 halftime advantage.
