The Twentieth "Journees d'Etude sur la Parole" (JEP-94), will be held on
June 1-3,
1994 at Tregastel, France. This international meeting of the Frenchspeaking
community brings together specialists of speech sciences.

Topics of particular interest include :
speech production, speech perception, phonetics, phonology, studies on
lexical,syntactical, and semantical aspects of speech, cognition, oral dialogue
and pragmatics, speech analysis, speech coding, noisy speech processing,
speech recognition, speech synthesis, speaker and language identification,
speech databases, evaluation methods, story and sociology of speech sciences.

Papers describing unpublished research in this area are sollicited.
Authors must submit four (4) complete copies of their paper (hard copy only),
received by January 28, 1994, to :

Papers should be written in French, no longer than 6 pages (A4 format),
including abstract and keywords, double column, single-spaced, and
printed using
Times 10 pt. type. Electronic submissions and papers received after the
deadlinewill not be accepted.

January 28, 1994: Deadline for submissions
March 11, 1994: Notification to authors
April 15, 1994: Revised, final camera-ready paper due
June 1-3, 1994: Conference
