Also desirable: o Background in Electrical Engineering; familiarity with semiconductor Process Technology o Experience in integrating engineering tools into user-friendly applications Duties include: -------------- Development and support of end-user applications used to assist Intel's Manufacturing in controlling chip production via software modeling techniques. Integration of Scheme-based Extension Language scripts, C/C++ modules, X/Motif GUI front-end, interactive graphics, post-processing 2/3-D visualization, and TCAD simulation tools. Qualifications/Experience: ------------------------- * Programming experience in C/C++ and interpretive languages (Lisp, Scheme, etc.) * Programming experience in X/Motif and X-based graphics/visualization * UNIX Operating Systems and Networking (TCP/IP) expertise * Exposure to PC/Windows and DEC/VMS environments is a plus * Knowledge of semiconductor processing and electronics is a plus * Customer orientation, good inter-personal communications skills, and ability to work in a team environment Education: --------- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equiv.
