Software Engineer for Electronic Trading Software Development


Infosto Research & Development is developing the next generation of
online services in the area of electronic trade.  The system is
architected around a network of servers maintaining a distributed
database of trading data and an intelligent client application for
accessing the servers. WWW access is also supported.

We are presently making the initial shipment to the Ministry of
Electronic Industries in China and several Trade Point organizations
worldwide. Our target is to be the leader in electronic trading
software.

Our ETEP (Electronic Trade Efficiency Programme) software system is
undergoing intense development for customizing it to various markets
worldwide.

We want a top notch software developer with real talent and speed as
well capacity to independenftly design and implement complex software
in a distributed computing environment.

We use Lisp for server development and C/C++ for Windows. The server
platform is AIX.  We appreciate expertise in distributed computing, OO
methods, Windows, TCP/IP etc.  Moreover, insight into relational / OO
databases, OLTP and online services is valuable.

The job may involve installation and customer service abroad.

We are located in Hmeenpuisto, downtown Tampere (a lively city with
picturesque surroundings, located in Southern Finland).  We will consider
offering an apartment for applicants from outside of the region.

We do not require any specific training or degree.  We want real world
expertise, productivity and insight.
