    Use your Common Lisp experience to get a fresh start in language-based
    synthesis of digital electronic circuits!

    We are looking for a sharp, experienced Lisp programmer, with or without
    experience in EDA (electronic design automation), to begin with part-time
    maintenance of a Lisp-based synthesis tool and to move into joint development
    of a C++/C-based tool for synthesizing circuits from the VHDL and Verilog
    hardware description languages.

Position:   Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer

Reports to: Manager, Architectural Synthesis

Requires:

o       BS/MS CS/EE or equivalent.
o       Strong Common Lisp background.
o       Experience in multi-person software development projects.
o       Proficiency in programming in a Unix environment.

Any of the following will be considered a plus:

o       Knowledge of C++ and/or C.
o       Knowledge of a hardware description language (VHDL or Verilog).
o       Experience with synthesis of digital electronic systems.
o	Experience with ASIC/FPGA design, EDA simulation and modeling.
o	Knowledge of compiler techniques, especially for optimizing
        compilers.
o       Exposure to the PC/Windows environment.
