We have an immediate opening for a versatile software engineer to join
our Software Support Team. The position involves requirements
analysis, design and development of an Expert System to support
observation preparation, planning and scheduling on the Hubble Space
Telescope.

Requirements:

+ Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience and training

+ Experience with OOD/OOP, Lisp and at least one UNIX Scripting
Language (Tcl/Tk preferred)

+ Ability to learn new Technologies, Programming Languages and Problem
Domains quickly and to work independently in a fast-paced environment

+ Familiarity with Expert Systems design and development.

+ An interest in Satellites and Space-Based Astronomy

+ Practical software experience a big plus
