GTE Laboratories is looking for an experienced AI software developer
to work on a Diagnostic KBS for a telecommunications application.

Responsibilities include:

a)  Developing and maintaining a fielded system that detects faults in
     Customer Access Facilities in GTE's wireline network, and

b)  Extending the system to diagnose problems in future technology network
     components.

Occasional travel to GTE sites will be required.


Education/Experience

MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field. Three to five years industrial
experience.

Need significant programming skills. Familiarity with Expert System
shells, object-oriented programming, and ART-IM/CLIPS
experience required.   C and TCL are helpful.
