	    Announcement and Call for Participation for a
		   KNOWLEDGE-BASED SCHEDULING LIST

An automatic moderated mailing list (Unix-based Listserver) for all
persons interested in topics related to advanced scheduling techniques
and applications has been established. To participate, send an
electronic mail message to listserver@vexpert.dbai.tuwien.ac.at
containing just the following line in the message body (the subject
field of the message has no significance):

SUB SCHED-L Name

where you replace "Name" by your real name, for example John Smith.
Your email address will be automatically extracted from the header of
your mail. You will then get a welcome mail in response to your
"SUBscribe" command above. All messages sent from other participants
to
		  sched-l@vexpert.dbai.tuwien.ac.at

will be forwarded to you (only junk-mail will be rejected).

If you prefer getting a digest once a week, send a

SET SCHED-L MAIL DIGEST

command to the address listserver@vexpert.dbai.tuwien.ac.at

Send a message containing only the word HELP to
listserver@vexpert.dbai.tuwien.ac.at to learn more about the commands
at your disposition.
