If your vehicle is somewhat larger than "roughly 2kg" (was this a
typo?), foor *shallow water* you can use motors from 12V DC electric
"trolling engines" that fisherman use when on the hunt for the elusive
Bass and Pike.  You can buy them at any big sporting goods outfit,
boat shop, sears, etc....  Chop off the mounting post at the motor,
and you have it.
