Undergrad Summer Employment Opportunity in Robotics Institute

The Advanced Manipulators Laboratory of the Robotics Institute is
looking for a student to work as a systems programmer on miscellaneous
projects over the summer.  The work will include interfacing robotic
hardware to software, real-time operating system development,
developing robot software control modules, and writing device drivers.

The position is open to a CMU undergraduate student in engineering or
computer science.  A strong background in programming systems,
preferably using C and UNIX, and an interest in real-time systems or
robotics is a must.  The student is expected to work full time (40 hours
per week) over the entire summer.  The pay scale, starting date, and
finishing date are negotiable.  Continuation of the job part-time during
the following school year is a possibility.
