If you are a great product marketing person, interested in object-oriented technologies, development environments and dynamic languages, there is probably an opportunity for you. These positions will give you the opportunity to work with products like Dylan, MacApp and in general participate in the definition of the Apple Tools strategy to support OpenDoc and Copland development. Here is the description of the job: Responsible for driving the definition, development and delivery of development environments, compilers, frameworks, etc., to the Macintosh developer community. Identifying customer needs and driving the definition of specific market requirements and products for worldwide markets. Developing recommendations for pricing, forecasting, packaging, distribution and competitive positioning. Help develop and review PR, Marcom materials, end-user documentation and competitive/3rd party product analysis. Requires a BS/BA degree in engineering, marketing or business, plus a MBA with 3 year of experience working with compilers and development environments, or equivalent. Object-oriented technology knowledge a plus. Requires clear oral and written communication skills. Position requires travel.
