is a known leader in the industry of knowledge-based software products and 
consulting. Brightware currently has several openings for knowledge-based 
software developers. The ideal applicant has many of the following 
qualifications:

Education:      Advanced degree in computer science 
Experience:     Building and deploying software applications, 
                knowledge acquisition, working on team projects

Languages:      ART-IM,LISP/CLOS,C/C++,CLIPS,KEE 
Methods:        OO design, Rule-based expert systems, 
                case-based reasoning, AI methods, knowledge representation
Systems:        UNIX,Windows,NT,OS/2
Other:          GUIs (X/Motif, VB, Windows SDK)
                RDBMS and SQL (Sybase,Oracle)
		Written and verbal communication skills


Immediate openings are in the Mid Atlantic (DC,NY,NJ,Phila) and Atlanta
areas.   

Salaries are very competitive, benefits include 2 weeks vacation, paid 
holidays,401K, health insurance, etc.

CAVEATS:
1. Regretably, we aren't budgeted to recruit from overseas.
2. Please note that experience in building production-quality software 
applications is key, and that the projects do *NOT* present
opportunities for academic research.
