developer to work on the internals of a Scheme interpreter.

INTEL's Technology CAD (TCAD) department is seeking a strong software developer
with C/C++ skills and experience in extending and supporting Extension
Language Interpreter(s) (e.g., Scheme, TCL, Pearl) in a heterogeneous
UNIX-based computing environment. The job location is near Portland, Oregon.

Also desirable experience in the areas of:

     o Large scale development in Scheme (or other Lisp) language. 
     o XEmacs lisp application development experience
     o X/Motif and/or Microsoft MFC environments

Duties include:
--------------
Development and support of Scheme-based Extension Language environment,
libraries and support tools.

Integration of Scheme-based Extension Language scripts, C/C++ modules, 
Motif/Microsoft MFC GUI, with XEmacs based Interactive Development
Environment.

This development environment is used to simulate INTEL's next-generation
process technologies.

Qualifications/Experience:
-------------------------
*  Understanding of Extension Language Interpreter design/implementation.

*  Programming experience in C/C++ and interpretive languages
   (Scheme, Lisp, etc.)

*  UNIX Operating Systems and Networking (TCP/IP) expertise

*  Programming experience in X/Motif or Microsoft MFC a plus

*  Customer orientation, good inter-personal communications skills, and 
   ability to work in a team environment

   BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equiv.
