We have an opening for an experienced AI software engineer to provide
software consultancy to our clients and, later, to work on
our inhouse advanced software projects. The current project is in the
area of symbolic math processing using constraint logic programming
(CLP) languages (e.g. clp(R)).
Our other projects have been in the areas of information retrieval
(including some NLP), compiler development & porting.

We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced (i.e. more than 3 years of
Prolog/Lisp experience on Unix) AI software engineer with good knowledge of
and experience with the following technology(s):
	- AI: Experience with constraint logic programming (CLP) languages.
	      Strong experience with logic programming languages will also
	      be considered.
	- Software Engg, including scientific software and experience
		with C/C++ on Unix/Windows [95/NT].

Experience with the following technology(s) will also be helpful:
	- Natural language processing (NLP)
	- Information Retrieval
	- Text processing
	- Compiler development
	- Relational databases

Must have several years of experience with CLP, Prolog and Lisp.
Experience with C/C++ is very desirable.
Must have experience with Unix, preferably on Sun. An exposure to MS Windows
(95, NT) will help. Should be willing to port advanced software from Unix to
MS Windows.

Must have a Bachelor's (Master's/Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science or a
closely related discipline (e.g. EE, Computational Linguistics, Cognitive
Science).
