I've been taking my cats to Daniel Murphy for a number of years now.
He has office hours at the Shadyside Veterinary Clinic at various times
during the week and is also affiliated with an animal hospital in
Aspinwall (Swart Veterinary Clinic). The Shadyside Clinic is at the
entrance to the Giant Eagle on Shakespeare St (right off Shady Avenue
in the East End).

Dr. Murphy is the kindest man I have ever dealt with for my cats and he
also seems to be able to diagnose their problems very easily. He has
a few cats of his own, also, which means he likes them and understands
them. I had to have one of mine put to sleep a few years ago (she had
cancer) and Murphy couldn't have been more understanding. His fees are
reasonable, too. Good luck in your search.
