Tara -
 I have been very satisfied with Dr. Babik in (southern) Squirrel Hill.
He seems more than competent and he and his staff really seem to like
the animals that they work with.  The (one) veterinarian that I saw
at the Humane Society clinic (not the same as the  adjacent Animal Emergency
Center), on the other hand, was rather rough with my kitten, and seemed
not to have very much compassion for how much pain he might be causing her.
