I use the Northview Animal Hospital, in the North Hills on Siebert Rd. (just
off of 19, very near the mall, if you're not familiar with the North Hills).

I recommend them very highly. I have dogs, but I've sent friends with cats
there, and they've also been thrilled with them. They have wonderful, caring
staff, excellent doctors. There is evening emergency service should you ever
need it. I've had to use them for surgical procedures a couple of times, and
their work, particularly Dr. Beebe's (sp?), is outstanding. Some of them are
really warm folks, others a little more "professional", a little more remote.
If you like professional, ask for Dr. Elliot. If you like approachable and
"just plain folks" ask for Dr. Larimor. Dr. Beebe is just all around great.
They have others that I don't know as well but I've never seen anyone leave
there unhappy.

I started using them over 20 years ago, and even though I now live east of
Kittanning (about an hour and a half from Pgh), I drive the distance to use
them for my four pooches. I've tried other folks a few times (including when
I moved to Sq. Hill for a bit), have always been dissapointed and went back to
Northview.

Cynthia
