Subject: Re: cat vet recommendations

I take my cats to Dr. Miggins at Shadyside Vetrinary, which is in the
basement of a building in that complex at Shady and Penn with the
Giant Eagle. Their main location is in Fox Chapel; hours at the
Shadyside office are limited.  They have several vets there (4, I think);
I've had Dr. Miggins and one other and did not like the other one, so now
I request Dr. Miggins specifically. He's very good with the animals,
is friendly, and answers all my questions. So far my cats haven't had
anything serious wrong with them; it's been pretty routine stuff plus
one minor eye problem that was cleared up with eye drops. If an animal
needs surgery you have to go to Fox Chapel, but they have hours that
are reasonably accommodating for people with jobs.

I hope this helps.

Monica
