Just make sure you get one that doesn't give many false alarms.  In my
parent's neighborhood, everyone has alarms that are always going off,
so no one pays attention to them anymore.  Also get one that shuts off
by itself in a relatively short time.  If you go away and your alarm
goes off and goes on and on, people will get mad enough to bash your
car to shut it off.
