Harold,
these recommendations appear to be a bit fresher. --Hans

Hans,

I've been taking my VW Rabbit to Ben Holland (Holland Service,
Sleepy Hollow Road, Mt. Lebanon) and he seems to know VW's inside and
out AND he seems to be quite honest (eg. he does only what's necessary
and once he gives you an estimate he sticks to it or confirms any
changes with you before beginning work). There are always alot of
Bettles in his lot, so I'm quite sure he can do a good job on them as
well.

	Blake.

In my opinion, probably the best place to get a VW repaired east of the
Mississippi is Hamlin's, Mayer Street, Bridgeville. It's only about 15
minutes from the point, near Great Southern mall in Bridgeville.
Hamlin's might not be the cheapest (I haven't compared price
extensively), but they are honest, and they know VW's, their specialty,
better than anyplace I've found anywhere, certainly including all VW
dealers. Their phone number is 221-2100.
