After doing this a couple of times in PA, I've got the
order down pat...
	Here it is:

        1. get insurance in PA

call around - if you don't already have insurance
(in your name - not your parents) you might be
placed in an assigned risk catagory. You don't
want this to happen - it costs $$$. Shop around
by phone - make sure the coverage is the same.

Airbags will get you ~30% off your premium.
Auto seatbelts will get you another ~10%.

I got my insurance from State Farm right next
		to Burger King in Oakland.

        2. goto AAA to get registration and plates

you'll need a rubbing of the VID (Vehicle ID)
better to do a couple and be safe - otherwise
they make you goto a mechanic and charge you $$ =)

		bring proof of insurance

you'll need a title for the car - make sure
it's in your name or signed over to you
the state will send you a new title

you can goto a Car Dealer or a Public Notary
to get the title transfered and new plates.
This is a bit more expensive than going to AAA.

        3. get car inspected
you'll need your PA registation and insurance forms
		any garage can do this

	Did I miss anything?

		-John
