Subject: auto body/auto repair

I'm pretty impressed with Wally's Exxon (at the corner of Morningside and
Butler 361-2187) and with Rick's Auto Body (on Morningside 661-1726). My
transmission started acting up, and to complicate matters the hood lock stuck
shut. I took it to Wally's, who couldn't get the hood open but suggested I
take it to Rick who they said was a decent guy. Wally's drove it up there,
Rick fixed it for free, and Wally's drove it back. Then Wally decided all
the transmission needed was a new filter, maybe. So far so good - the
symptom is gone. Anyway, getting away for <$50 for a undetermined
transmission problem is pretty good. I wonder what it would have needed at
Aamco.

I've had some other small things done at Wally's. Thet have always been
reluctant to suggest any work that isn't necessary yet.
