The bottom line is that my 85 GTI runs better now with 100,000 miles than it did with 70,000 miles before I came to Pittsburgh and started taking the car to them. (Through the Liberty Tubes, turn left, about 2 miles). Their labor isn't cheap, but is reasonable. I can't say enough about the work though. I've always had everything done well, and nothing extra done. The best example was prior to driving across country I went in and said - take a look at the car and let me know if anything should be done - leaving myself wide open. They recommended replacing a $50 tie bar. I expected they would come up with about $400 of excess stuff. My only other recommondation is to stay away from VW Haven.
