In the course of some repairs about 15 months ago, M&G Auto installed
a new battery. I realized soon after that it was the wrong size
battery, but I'd already moved to California so I wasn't about to
bring it back. Today, I learned that not only did they install the
wrong battery, they disconnected an air hose, and cut a hole in the
socket that the hose used to connect to, because they needed to make
room for the terminals on the battery they'd installed. If they'd
used the right battery, the hose wouldn't have needed any surgery.

I also have reason to believe that they didn't actually replace certain
parts when they claimed to, but I don't have definite proof.

On a couple of occasions, they performed (or claimed to) work I didn't
ask for. When I spotted these items on the bill, they said they'd
misunderstood and didn't charge me for them.

So, based on one definite major mistake or deception, one suspected,
and a number of questionable "miscommunications", I want to recommend
that everyone stay away from this repair shop!

Ari
