Hey all,

I got a couple of responses to "Where's a good place to get your car
washed" so I thought I'ld post them all here for others. Thanks to everyone
who responded. I'm going to try them all over the next few months.

For about 15 bucks, there's a place called the 'auto bath house' out
in Monroeville that does a great job. It's on the main road BEHIND 22
(south), and is right near the Shogun restaurant and post office.

For whatever that's worth.

There is one on Washington Blvd before you get to the light at Negley Run.
I haven't used it myself, but if I'm not mistaken it is owned and operated
by a GSIA grad. I think they do detailing as well.

If you're going to get it washed by others, I recommend "Instant Car
Wash" on Penn Circle South in East Liberty (go on Penn Circle, stay at
the outermost lane - it's the one right before SOUTH Highland Ave., on
the right).

It's $7 for a basic wash - they finish up by hand.

You could also go to self-wash places where it's ~75 cents to get a bay
with a hose from which you can spray water, soap, wax, etc. There's one
in Monroeville that I know of.

I like the self-service carwash on Penn ave. in Wilkinsburg.
You put in quarters, and there's a hose and you wash it yourself,
also a brush with lots of foamy soap.

Or, try the brushless carawash at teh Exxon on Forbes near Pitt.
