I can't answer your question about ``Alley-Way Services,'' but I
do have a recommendation for a body shop. Bovik recommends Bob's Auto Body
in Wilkinsburg. They've changed their name to M&D Auto Body (new owners?),
but it still seems to be run by the same people.

I've had two jobs done at M&D. Last year (when it was still called
Bob's), they repaired a small dent in the left front fender of my VW for $150.
A couple of other places matched this estimate; I chose Bob's on Bovik's
recommendation.

Less than a month ago, they repaired a large dent in the left door of
my VW for $514; the job required replacing the outer skin of the door. The
estimate was made by my insurance company, and M&D did the work at that price.
The new door skin had a small dent in it which M&D did not notice when they
installed it. They have agreed to remove the dent (at no additional charge)
as soon as the finish has had a chance to set.

I'm satisfied with both of these repair jobs.
