A brake fluid leak ate away at everything. I have no way of knowing, but I wouldn't be surprised if this leak had been caused by their clumsiness. For some reason, I had them replace the rear brakes. I went back twice or thrice more for adjustments, as the front brakes were overheating terribly and the emergency brake was loose. I also noticed that the steering wheel flutters while braking from high speeds (probably a problem with the front brakes). I went to East Liberty Midas for an adjustment (I was tired of Oakland Midas). They will not do any warranty work on parts of another shop, but the adjustment was free. They said that the front brakes were shot (already!?). I left quick, not trusting either Midas. I went to Oakland Midas for another adjustment. They said East Liberty Midas were all crooks and showed me a framed letter from a customer attesting to that. The adjustment still wasn't right, so I had Bruno's do it while they replaced my water pump (8 day wait for an appointment, though). Adjustment's fine. I should have had them look at the front brakes causing that shimmying, too. Avoid Midas!!! jg
