I've had very good luck with the repair department at Krebs and King Toyota
up on Route 8 (a couple of miles above the Highland Park Bridge).

Their prices seem reasonable and they seem honest and competent.  They've
given me a decent explanation of the work I've needed and why, and have at
times discouraged me from bothering with certain repairs.  The main
disadvantage is that their location makes it difficult to leave your car
there while it's being worked on.  An appointment helps but is not crucial.
