My Subaru GL ('81) is great. I have 85K miles on it, and have never had an
unscheduled repair on it. (I do have regular servicing done as per the car
manual.) I'm rather pleased with Bowser Pontiac-Subaru, who does all my
service.

In my opinion, Subarus seem indestructable. I drive mine hard, long
distances, in Pgh, and sometimes on unimproved roads. I love it.

Two friends also own the '86 DL wagon, and both are very pleased. One bought
theirs at Bowser. You can talk several hundred off of the sticker price there
if you are forceful.
