After reading of Thomas Langer's experience, I had to post of our own
experience with "Bull". (And I know exactly how he got that name!!!)

We bought a used Voyager van from them. A couple days after bringing it
home we noticed our garage floor covered with a rather large oil spot.

We took the vehicle back and were told it wasn't leaking when we left
their dealership, we obviously did this damage ourself. My husband and
Bull exchanged pleasantries, then we took the vehicle to our own mechanic.
He determined the head gasket needed replaced.

My husband went back to the dealer and argued with one of their service
managers. They finally agreed to replace the head gasket at no charge.
About two weeks after they did the work, a bolt dropped from the engine
onto my in-laws driveway. We looked around and couldn't see where it
came from. We took the van back to the dealer, but didn't stop at the
showroom, we just went straight back to the service area and spoke with
the head mechanic. After our experience with Bull, we didn't reveal all
the details of our previous visits, my husband simply told the mechanic
we bought the vehicle from them about two weeks before. We showed him the
bolt and told him it just dropped out from under the hood. He didn't want
to touch the vehicle until they located the vehicle service file, which they
couldn't find. So after about an hour and still no file, he stuck his head
inside and looked around. He checked the other bolts and found they were all
loose. He could remove them with his fingers!!! He asked my husband if
anyone worked on the engine, and my husband told him their garage replaced
the head gasket about two weeks before. The head mechanic said he didn't
remember this, and my husband told him it was on a Saturday. The head
mechanic said he was off on Saturdays. He said the mechanic who replaced
the gasket never tightened any of the bolts. Now the vehicle service file
suddently appeared. The young lady who found it said she couldn't imagine
why, but it was in "Bull's" office. The head mechanic read the history of
this vehicle sale and immediately went to see Bull. My husband followed
behind. The head mechanic went into Bull's office and my husband waited
out in the corridor. The head mechanic began yelling at Bull and accused
him of instructing the mechanic to leave the bolts loose! He came back and
was very apologetic. He said if we had time to wait, he'd look the whole
engine over himself to be sure nothing else was wrong.

We took the van back a couple months later for servicing, but the head
mechanic was no longer working there. We refused to allow anyone else
from that garage to work on it and now have our own mechanic doing all
the work.

I agree with Mr. Langer, and will not be doing any more business with the
New Monroeville Chrysler-Plymouth.
