Last Summer, my parents bought an Audi 4000 (I certainly cant afford one) and it is one of the nicest cars I have ever driven. Since my parents tend to like nice cars, I have had a chance to drive a Jaguar XJ-6, Toyota Supra, and Rover TC 2000 and I think that in terms of handling the Audi beats them all. Unfortunately, the 4000 leaves a little to be desired in the power plant (esp. compared to the Toyota). You can buy the Audi 5000 (5 cylinder) if you really want a sports car. The Audi's stick shift is a small (short throw) stick which is really a pleasure to drive. Well, I could go on and on about how much I like the car but I'll spare you the details and just say that it is very well engineered. Unfortunately I cant really say anything about the older Audi's (the fox etc.) but, what I've seen of the new ones has been all favorable. -Nigel Foster P.S.: In case you're interested, the Supra is a very nice car also. It has great acceleration but, because of its power steering, it doesn't handle as well as other sports cars.
