I don't recommend McKean given my experiences with them; they not only
recommend unnecessary repairs, but may actually try sabotage to keep you
there (they once switched thewires from my distributor to my spark plugs
so that I could hardly get the car started and no one was there to set
things straight for me.  It was either gross incompetence or annoyance
with me at saying I wanted to take my car somewhere else to have the repairs
done).  Another time they replaced one of my carburators (probably unneces-
sarily; I was not quick enough to take the old parts) and failed to properly
hook-up the anti-pollution equipment so that the car would stall at high
speeds; I took my car back two or three times before they got it done
properly.  I have vowed NEVER to go there again.
