Here's a non-chronological (that'd be too confusing) summary of responses. Dr. Glass: call 1: two-day wait (to order window), $70 ($10 Donnelly coupon applies only to windshields) call 2: recommended ordering window from Honda (since that's what they'd do), $20 to install (guy remembered me from previous call - friendly) call 3: $35 to install, I complained & mentioned previous call and got $20 price again (different person on phone). Had to go to South Hills location rather than the nearby Shadyside one. Worker hadn't worked on this model before & had some trouble, but seemed to do a decent job. He (& other workers) were distracted from working on my car by other goings on & I had to ask him to vacuum the broken glass out. Royal Glass: call 1: wait till warehouse opened Mon. & see if in stock, $60 (minus $10 Donnelly coupon) call 2: not in stock, $60 + $30 shipping, but try calling around (gave me some #s) for window, install for $20 (guy remembered me from previous call - friendly) call 3: (I thought I had found the glass) come in any time, guy still remembered me Ryan's Glass: two-day wait (to order), $70 Honda dealerships: $30 to order on regular order cycle (week & 1/2 wait), more for special order. McKean (service dept.) said they didn't handle glass, which I later found out that meant that they wouldn't install it, but would order it. Used auto parts places: None had it, but I got two recommendations for All-Foreign. All the places (in Donnelly pages) with big ads had computerized records and could tell me quickly that they didn't have it. Several of the smaller places don't handle foreign stuff at all. For two, I had to call back after someone went and looked to see if they had the glass. jg
