I failed the emissions inspection, and they charged me $20 to adjust, but they could have found a lot more of those nitpicky things like wiper blades and stuff. I'd recommend them, and you can easily walk to school from there (it is closer than where I have to park sometimes.) From: Alon Lavie Bruno's garage in East Liberty will do it for something like $20 if I remember correctly. I highly recomend there services for any kind of mechanical work as well. They are professional, do good work for reasonable prices, and very friendly and patient as well. The head machanic has always taken the time to explain to me exactly what the problem was and how they fixed it. (I just had my car A/C fixed there yesterday...) I took my car to Krebs Toyota who wanted to replace all the brake parts, and other work totalling $1200. Then I took it to Hess Exxon near CMU. They thought the brakes were OK, but they wouldn't pass the shock absorbers. Then I took it to the Gulf station. All they wanted to do was to replace a $10 brake hose.
