My post:

My regular car repair place (German Motor Works) says that the
alignment guy they usually use is in the hospital, and they don't
know of any other reliable ones! Has anyone here had an alignment done
(on a front-wheel drive car) that they were happy with recently?
Thanks; I'll pass the info on to Bovik.

Summary of my responses:

Five alignment places:
Pep Boys (chain): 4571 MCKNIGHT RD, (412) 369-7650

Houghs on 2nd Ave in Hazelwood, 521-9537

	NTB in Monroeville

	Lockhart Tire, Northside, 322-4044

Paul's Service Center, Penn Hills, 241-4604

And a mechanic:

Excellent BMW/Saab mechanic very close to CMU; I highly recommend Dave
Colwell at the corner of Greenfield and Second Avenues (the big
intersection where you turn right onto Saline to go to Big Jim's).
422-0632. Does domestic cars too.

Result:

I went to Lockhart because it was recommended by the guys who replaced
my power steering, so if there was a problem they could fight it out.
They did a four wheel alignment for $50, apparently did a fine job,
and seemed very professional.

	Bob
