Dear Sir or Madam,

On Tuesday, February 14th, I brought in my Datsun 200SX for service
of a screeching noise around the belts. Your service manager, Jerry Mellon
(I'm not sure of his correct last name), took the time to look at the
problem, spray the belts with anti-slip and finally diagnose, to the best of
his ability, the particular pulley which I could replace or which your staff
could replace for me. Additionally, he told me approximately how much it
might cost in time and money if your staff were to do it versus if I were to
do it myself, and he told me how he would proceed with the final analysis
and repair. I have since followed Mr. Mellon's advice: replaced the part
(with one purchased from your supply shop) and my car is again running
smoothly.

I felt very good about having been treated with such courtesy and
attention by Mr. Mellon, and that his advice was sufficiently precise that I
was able to repair the automobile with no trouble. This sort of reputation
is the best advertising you can possibly have, since I will certainly
continue to bring my problems to Mervis, and will encourage everyone that I
can, to do so also. I hope that your entire maintenance staff is as
forthright and competent as Mr. Mellon and I look forward to dealing with
your company in the future (as much as one can claim to "look forward" to
car repairs).

					Yours Sincerely,

					Jeff Shrager
