We started taking our two cars to the Forbes & Murray Gulf
and at first were pleased. They did instpections and found little
wrong with it. Then a couple of months later when we brought them
in for winterizing, all of a sudden, they both needed lots of
work, and the bills for winterizing were also high. They said
that they both needed new brakes (when we had just done
work on one). The other car sounded bad shortly after having
it winterized and now I believe it needs new brakes whether it
needed them or not when I took them in. I don't trust them anymore.
They seemed very sleezy and dishonest. I posted and got several
converging stories on this point. If anything, they should have pointed
out the claimed problems a couple of months earlier when they were
brought in for inspection. When I brought them in for winterizing,
I wasn't asking for this help. I also wonder whether they really
rotated the tires...time to find a new mechanic.
