Hope this is useful. Probably goes in the "computing" folder.

Subject: list of files/pointers

This may or may not be the kind of thing you're looking for... I created
(and "maintain" only when I'm feeling philanthropic) such a random
collection of information, but it is really for Internet archive sites and
not CMU files. It contains frequently accessed/used benchmark programs,
circuits designs, etc, plus pointers to various archive sites like
simtel20.arpa. Part of the database of pointers is maintained by hand, the
other is updated from the comp.archives automatically. It all lives in:

	/../maxwell/usr/cad/benchmarks
	/../maxwell/usr/cad/benchmarks/archives

The README files sprinkled around should help a little. If you can't get to
these files, complain to gripe.
