You can put (setq-default bb-spool "/../<mainframe>/usr/spool") in your
workstation .emacs_pro file where "<mainframe>" is any mainframe with bboards
locally stored, such as the "b" to read bboards from a workstation.

Unfortunately, due to protection problems with rfs (the /../host stuff), you
can't yet read mail and bboards both remotely from rfs.  Fixes have been
submitted to gripe, and an announcement will be made when this will work.
Until then, it's probably best to just run bags on a mainframe.
