29-Sep-88 22:59 Gene.Rollins Great Video Tape Rental Store
From: Gene.Rollins@PROOF.ERGO.CS.CMU.EDU
The new Heads Together is now open! They have one of the world's best
collections of video tapes (VHS & Beta), and they are located in Squirrel Hill
across the street from Giant Eagle on Murray Avenue. One day rental is $2.25.

They have the best of new releases, but their strong suit is their collection
somewhat less known films, including foreign, cult, fine arts, independent
film makers, and more. Browse the recommended films section for slightly
obscure but good videos. Off beat gems can also be found in the drama,
comedy, music, and documentary sections. Those of us with kids no longer have
to sulk about missing the Playhouse films; many of the films on their schedule
are available for rental at Heads Together. Some of the less known films that
I can recommend (read the box and decide) include: Brother from another
planet, Down by law, The return of the secaucus 7, The times of harvey milk,
First monday in october, Breaking Away, El Norte, and My life as a dog.

The new ownership brings a new vitality to the business; their video tape
budget is bigger than ever, and they've remodelled to give the store a
spacious and family-oriented look. They also carry CDs, records and tapes.

Memberships of the old Heads are good for one year at the new Heads; so you
can support a responsive locally-owned business and enjoy videos you can't
find anywhere else in Pittsburgh.
