I've compiled some complaints about Sichuan House in
Squirrel Hill:

--------
Sichuan House is a bad idea. The owner is as complete an asshole as you will
find in this world. The chicken sometimes tastes spoiled and if you return
a dish because of this, all the cooks will do is reheat it.

I suggest Szechuan Gourmet in Shadyside or Jimmy Tsang's in Shadyside (on
center).

... is indeed truly terrible. We stopped going there when Juliet
ordered a tofu-based dish, only to receive a dish with bamboo shoots
instead. When she complained about this, the waitress tried to convince
her that the bamboo shoots really were tofu, and refused to take the
dish back.

(And of course, we all remember the barbed-wire-in-the-food rumor, right?)

Yes, he hates students, young people, Americans, people who want food
their way, himself. I was probably their best customer for a long while
until I finally got fed up with this shit-head. He does things like
pretend that he doesn't understand what your saying to him. God I hate
that. Don't eat at SH!

I hate the Siechwan House. They're incredibly overpriced, as well. Go to
Kim's.

My girlfriend used to be a hostess at SH. She told me lots of stories about
what an asshole the manager was, like the pretending not to speak english
scam, and that they reuse their rice. One day she said to me, "I don't
think he likes me." "What makes you think that," I asked. "Well," she
said, "today he said to me, `you, you, I no LIKE you, I no LIKE you.'"

Heed these warnings!
