I'll add a few of my favorites from the Entertainment book:

Hana - Market Square. I've eaten here many times and have never been
disappointed. They have a large variety of sushi and Japanese entrees.
Their shabu shabu is really fun for a not-too-romantic date. (Can't be
too romatic with a pot of boiling water between you and your SO!)

Linden Grove - Castle Shannon. We went here on the advice of relatives
who are NOT gourmands and were pleasantly surprised. The food was well
prepared, the prices quite reasonable and the service was amusing. Our
waitress was a true Pittsburgh matron, complete with accent and
bleached blonde hair.

Jose & Tony's - Mt. Lebanon. A tiny dive-y bar and restaurant with
really good (cheap!) Mexican food. Presentation scores a 0, but the
atmosphere is casual and the food plentiful & tasty, so I like it. A
good place to stop for a quick dinner or lunch on your way to doing
something else (we usually go there before th movies).

Richest's - Downtown, 6th St. Excellent Jewish deli. Better than
Rhoda's in Squirrel Hill, which is saying something, because I used to
think Rhoda's was the best in the world. (Rhoda's has a coupon, too.
Try them both!)

I could go on (we use our book often!), but I won't.
