Watch out for Clark Color Labs! I sent a roll of film to them, since the
price is attractive. The negatives came back dirty and some of the prints
were framed completely wrong. If you know of a decent low price film lab,
please let me know. I will forward replies to Bovik. (There are plenty of
recommendations for more expensive labs already there.)

I have sent them >20 rolls of color 35mm film in the last couple of years,
and had no problem at all. This was to the lab in Washington, DC.

Just to tell both sides, I had some prints done by Clark that came out just
fine. They were from a disk camera, though.

York Color Labs develops my films since about a year at 5c per print for
double prints. It is not an introductory offer. It is a steady price. Their
work is OK and fast. It always took less than a week to get the pictures
back. I had too some good enlargments from them at a fair price. They also
sell cheap Konica film. The address in PA is :
		YORK Color Lab
		P.O. Box L
		Greensburg, PA, 15601

I also use York Color Labs and have been happy with the results (although,
for really worthwhile photos, reprints from Super Photo in Squirrel Hill
are always better). My only gripe - sometimes they send me mailers that say
8c/print for double prints. So far I havent had to use one because I retain
all the 5c/print mailers they send. They had free mailers in the Sunday Pgh
Press a couple of weeks back.

York color labs has processed ~10 rolls of 35mm film for me, and
the results are good. 5 cents/print for double prints.

I just got some some film from Clark Color Labs -- my first experience with
them -- and was very pleased with the results. I'm wondering which one of us
had the anomalous experience. I do think their price for reprints is high
so I'm looking for a cheaper place to have reprints made.

By the way, I sent them two rolls of 35mm film for developing (color prints).
Both rolls came back just fine.
